The info. below is a look at the Lancaster County real estate market for December 2018. Although inventory is still tight, there were still homes sold/settled in December. Additionally, there were 360 homes listed in December 2018. The median list price was $210,000 and the median sold/settled price was $202,500. This represents 4.7 months of inventory. Keep in mind that 6 months of inventory is considered a ‘balanced’ seller/buyer market, so we are still slightly slanted towards a sellers’ market in Lancaster County. The average days on market for the sold properties was 58 days.
